Pneumatic Loading: Hydrated lime is delivered by tanker truck via the feed pipe. The silo-top dust collector filters the air-powder mixture, releasing clean air and retaining the powder within the silo.
Smart Level Monitoring: High and low-level sensors in the silo trigger visual/audible alarms and send signals to the central PLC, enabling precise inventory management.
Automated Replenishment: When the level drops to a mid-point setpoint, the system signals for a refill. The delivery truck connects, and lime is pneumatically transferred into the silo.
Precise Dosing & Mixing: On demand, lime is discharged via a screw conveyor to the dissolving tank, where it is mixed with water to form a uniform slurry (lime milk).
Continuous Operation: The prepared slurry is fed to the dewatering process. The PLC automatically cycles the preparation system based on the slurry tank level, ensuring an uninterrupted supply.
